About Us:
Adopt Rescue Dogs/Legacy Ranch is a non-profit federal 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization. We also foster dogs for other shelters in our area. We make it our mission to prepare rescue dogs for their forever homes. Many animals come to us in poor health, and with many issues related to abuse, neglect, and abandonment by uncaring owners. While in our care, establishing a trusting relationship between the dog and a human is of our utmost concern. In this way, we can help to assure placement in an adoptive home that will also be a forever home. Stability in the dog's life is critical.

About Fostering:
We are always in need of foster homes for our many dogs. When you foster, you are helping to prepare the dog for its forever home by loving it and caring for its needs, and doing basic training and socialization. The dog develops a trusting relationship with its human, which carries over to the adoptive home. This work is critical to the placement of our animals in loving forever homes. Fostering can be the answer to your desire to love an animal, but your inability, for whatever reason, to make a long term commitment to a new pet.
